Hello! We are researchers at the University of Northern Colorado who are interested in understanding parental experiences and perceptions of their involvement in youth sport. We want to hear from you directly and hope to use our scientific training to explore the realities of your experience as a youth sport parent and then use this information to then provide you with our findings for your own use!

You will be asked to share your experiences and perceptions of your youth sport parenting experience. There are no right or wrong answers but we are solely interested in your experiences to capture the reality of being a youth sport parent. All data will be kept confidential and no specific identifiable information will be solicited. No risks to participation in this study beyond those that are present in everyday life and involvement in sport are foreseen. Participation is voluntary. You may decide not to participate in this study even after your consent is obtained. Your decision to withdraw will be respected and will not result in loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.

If you consent and decide to participate, you have the opportunity to provide your name and email as instructed through a separate link at the end of the survey to enter a raffle for your chance to win 1 of 20 promo codes for merchandise from Mindful Sport Parenting (i.e., sweatshirt, t-shirt, water bottle, coffee mug) upon conclusion of data collection. If your contact information is randomly drawn, you will be emailed a promo code and instructions for how to choose your merchandise.
