Questionnaire for Faculty and Graduate Students
This Qualtrics form will be utilized to create a listing to connect undergraduate students with UNC faculty mentors and graduate students who would like to mentor research, creative projects or provide general graduate or professional mentoring for UNC students. The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Works (OUR) will provide mentor profiles to students who are interested in working with a mentor. All faculty members and graduate students who either regularly mentor undergraduate students or who would like to mentor undergraduate research and creative works should complete this profile.
Students interested in engaging in research, scholarly or creative works can learn more about the process by emailing our@unco.edu. Students will start with a consultation meeting with OUR staff, who will then provide the student with the list of possible mentor matches, as applicable. The students will be asked to contact the potential faculty or graduate mentor directly. During the consultation meeting, students will also be provided information about workshops and funding opportunities.
Undergraduate students who apply for and are accepted into the Undergraduate Research Mentorship Program (URMP) will be matched with Graduate Students from this database. The deadline for Academic Year 24-25 for Graduate students is October 25, 2024.
