The David D. Powell Beauty Supply is a program by the Marcus Garvey Cultural Center that exists to provide hair care products and tools to Black, African, and African American students on campus.

Your items can be picked up at the Marcus Garvey Cultural Center from a staff member Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except for holidays or center closures. Each order will require 2-3 business days for processing and completion. Orders will be filled in the order that they are received, so products might run out of stock even if they are listed as in stock when you order them. If that's the case, we will contact you and give you an ETA for that out of stock item. With that in mind, please only order what you need at a time so we can make sure that we have enough supplies at any given moment. Several supplies have a maximum numbers of requests and are indicated below.

Our goal is to provide the products you need to best care for you, and to have enough resources so that everyone has what they need to care for themselves, when they need it. As such, we are limiting requests to one (1) per student per 10 days, and no more than 10 items per order. We ask that you take what you need, and save the rest for other Bears.

Should you select more than the quantities listed next to each product, or more than one product in each category per order, we will only provide the first five (5) items you selected.
