FIRST-GENERATION COLLEGE STUDENT - (1) an individual neither of whose natural or adoptive parents received a baccalaureate degree; or (2) an individual who, prior to the age of 18, regularly resided with and received support from only one parent and whose supporting parent did not receive a baccalaureate degree; or (3) an individual who, prior to the age of 18, did not regularly reside with or receive support from a natural or adoptive parent.

INCOME ELIGIBLE - an individual whose family's taxable income did not exceed 150% of the poverty level amount in the prior calendar year. You can see the current guidelines here.

UNDERREPRESENTED GROUP AT THE GRADUATE LEVEL - an individual who is a member of one (or more) of the following ethnic and racial groups: Black or African American, Hispanic or Latine, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiians and Native American Pacific Islanders.
